Laura Jackson is a broadcaster, author, fashion aficionado and is also the co-founder of the hugely popular supper club HOSTE. Laura has hosted several high profile shows for networks including; ITV, Channel 5, ITV2 and 4OD. Laura also hosted the 2017 BRIT awards ITV2 red carpet and backstage coverage. Spring 2018 will see Laura co-host the newly standalone Sunday night show for BBC One.
TV highlights include hosting her own live music show called ‘The Music Room’ delivering coverage from Wireless and V Festival and she also interviewed nominees on the Brit Awards red carpet and presented The Brits 2017 coverage for ITV2. Presenting the full behind the scenes coverage for one of TV’s biggest shows ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. In addition, she co-hosted Channel 5s ‘Celebrity Super Spa’ and ‘Stand by Your Man’ and co-hosted BBC Comic Relief’s live ‘24 Hour Panel People’ with David Walliams. Laura presented ‘World’s Most Talented’ on UKTV, a travel talent show which saw her attempt gymnastics in Romania, numerical memory in Japan and snake charming in Malaysia.
As well as television, Laura’s passion for cooking has seen her launch lifestyle brand HOSTE, encompassing supper clubs, travel, interiors and a monthly newsletter, which then led to Laura to launch her very own podcast HOSTEing with Laura Jackson. Series one is sponsored by Liz Earle. To unite the nation during Lockdown, Laura launched an initiative called #Makeamealofit with the purpose to encourage people to make the most out of dinner times. This idea grew into her #Makeamealofit X Hoste at home dining kits with the first kit launched to coincide with Hoste’s take on Thanks Giving coined “FriendsGiving.” HOSTE partnerships have included Papier design collaboration, with more exciting partnerships in development.
Outside of food, Laura has an established profile in the realm of fashion and interiors, and she has fronted collections for Oasis and Warehouse, has designed a hugely successful knitwear collection for Label Mix which sold out in record speed. Additionally, she has designed her own range of limited edition dresses for cult fashion brand Rixo which was exclusively sold on Net-a-Porter.
Laura previously co-founded the now-disbanded Jackson&Levine Supperclub which saw her release her debut recipe and lifestyle book, entitled ‘Round To Ours’ due to release through Quadrille in May 2017 to much critical acclaim. She also co-designed two seasons for high street interior giant Habitat, which saw her co-design a range of table linen and crockery, all selling out within days of being available.
2020 have seen Laura grace the covers of Sunday Time Style and Grazia.
